The snake plant is popular for its upright leaves and drought tolerance. This plant only need water when the soil feels dry to the touch. Too wet and moist soil will cause root and leaf rot, leading to the death of the snake plant. Watering it once month won't kill the plant.
ZZ plant

Water your ZZ plant as the soil dries out between watering. If you live in a humid or cold climate, this could be once every 2-3 weeks or even once a month. The mushy leaves is a sign that your ZZ plant is being overwatered, which rots its roots.
Rubber plant

Rubber plant is an excellent plant for absorbing indoor air pollution. It's low-maintenance and drought-tolerant. Expect to water the plant once every 1-2 weeks during the summer, but only once a month during the winter.
